Diversity & Inclusion Group (DIG) Update

SHTM Post Film Discussion Image

We hope you enjoyed the October Chapter meeting featuring the film “Show Her the Money”, along with additional group discussion with the film's producer, Catherine Gray.  A spring DIG session is being coordinated – additional details will be shared as soon as they are available.

For your future planning purposes, FEI will no longer sponsor the annual FUSION Event held at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) during the month of September.  Instead, we plan to hold a FEI sponsored DIG event in fall 2025.

Membership Committee Update

Rubright, Jim - 2018 (TIDI Products)

For accounting and finance leaders across eastern Wisconsin, staying ahead in today’s rapidly evolving business and economic landscape is essential. Attending FEI events provides valuable opportunities for professional development, networking, and industry insights that can benefit not only individual careers but the strength and resilience of our entire region’s economy. These events are immersive experiences where finance and accounting professionals can explore the latest tools, learn about emerging trends, and connect with peers facing similar challenges—knowledge that can drive both individual and organizational performance.

When we participate in these events, we gain access to fresh perspectives and proven strategies from experts across the accounting and finance profession, strengthening our ability to make forward-thinking decisions that foster sustainable growth. By attending these events, we invest in more than just skill development—we foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation that benefits all our organizations.

The growth of local accounting and finance leaders directly contributes to the success of businesses throughout eastern Wisconsin. When we are equipped with cutting-edge knowledge, new connections, and an expanded skill set, we can lead our organizations more effectively. Ultimately, the increased accounting and financial acumen within our companies strengthens the region’s economic health, resilience, and ability to compete in the broader economy. Event participation is not just about professional growth; it’s an investment in a brighter future for eastern Wisconsin’s businesses and communities.

I’m looking forward to connecting at our next chapter event.
